The San Fernando Valley JACL mourns the loss of our friend and former chapter president Tak Yamamoto. In addition to his courageous advocacy for LGBT rights, he was a leader of the Manzanar Committee and worked tirelessly to preserve the memories of the victims of America's WWII concentration camps.
